Spotlight on cartoonist Philippe Geluck and his iconic character "The Cat"
The Musée Maillol is devoting an exhibition to cartoonist Philippe Geluck and the humorous comic strip character that made him such a success: "The Cat". In the first part of the exhibition, visitors can discover original drawings, sketches, watercolors, plates, serigraphs and objects linked to the creation of the famous cat. In the second part, Philippe Geluck, who also curates the exhibition, confronts the works of renowned artists, from Andy Warhol and Gustave Courbet to Pablo Picasso, Banksy and Johannes Vermeer. On view from 14 November 2025.

How to get to Maillol Museum from the Hôtel Jardin Le Bréa?
59-61 Rue de Grenelle,75007 Paris
- From the Hôtel Jardin Le Bréa, take metro line 12 at Notre-Dame-des-Champs (5 min walk), towards Mairie d'Aubervilliers, stop at Rue du Bac station, the Maillol museum is then a 4 min walk away,
or take bus line 83 at Guynemer-Vavin (5 min walk), towards Invalides and get off at the stop Charlotte Pierrand. Then, Maillol Museum is only 2 min walk.
The total travel time from our hotel via the two routes is approximately 10 minutes.
You can also go there by foot. The Maillol museum is only 20 min walk from our hotel ! All you need to do, is walk down the Raspail Boulevard until you reach Grenelle street. Then, look for the number 59-61.
