Categories : Fairs and Events, published on : 4/20/25
This year, from May 19 to June 08, 2025 will be held the famous Tournament of Roland Garros, annual meeting of the best tennis players in the world.
The first editions of this tournament were held on the courts of the Racing Club de France and of the Stade Français.
Since 1928, it took up residence in the Stade Roland-Garros in Paris, which is named after the French aviator.
It replaces the Championnat of France, or the French Championships, created in 1891.
The French Open is the largest tournament of the season held on clay, and the only Grand Slam event that is still played on this surface.
It has the most coverage worldwide and, because of the slow-playing surface and the five-set men's singles matches without a tiebreak in the final set, the event is widely considered to be the most physically demanding tennis tournament in the world.
From May 20 to June 09, 2024, come and encourage the young hopes of the French tennis and the big names of international tennis,
walk through the stadium and discover the shops and restaurants in the village.
...or watch the matches on TV in your room at Hotel Jardin Le Brea!
